The Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners released its Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process in 2014, establishing the patient-centric care model. This document had an open review period from late 2024 into early 2025. We expect to see a stronger inclusion for pharmacy technicians as a pharmacy team member for patient-centric care in early 2026.
