Datascan Gets Five Stars on Service
A successful community pharmacist, Ben Price, Pharm.D., with TigeRx, was frustrated with increased fees and a lack of customer service provided by his pharmacy vendor. He went looking for a new system

TigeRx Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy in Honaker, Va., owned by Ben Price, Pharm.D. As a second-generation pharmacist, Price took over TigeRx in 2010; the pharmacy was founded in 2001 and was named after the town’s local high school mascot, the Honaker Tiger.
Price operates a successful independent pharmacy that offers a full complement of services, including delivery, adherence monitoring, and geriatric consults with a board-certified geriatric pharmacist. He also offers a range of point-of-care testing: strep, flu, COVID-19, urinary tract infections, and yeast infections. “We pride ourselves on service that includes taking care of our aging community,” says Price.
